The 1999 vintage Marilyn Cabernet is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
The wine is deep in color and rich in fruit flavors. Subtle aromas of French oak barrels highlight the desirable character of black fruits and cassis. This wine is full bodied and is enriched by the nicely rounded tannins.
The vineyards range from the Coombsville area in Southern Napa Valley to Rutherford in the middle of the county.
This wine is the second of five vintages in our Second Marilyn Cabernet Collection each featuring a unique label. Only 385 cases were produced. They were bottled the third week of November 2001.
