Marilyn Monroe Red wine in 375ml and 1.5L.
This wine has a AVA of Mendocino and it is a red wine blend of 1/3 Syrah, 1/3 Petite Syrah, and 1/3 Carignane which thrives in warm climates and until the 1970s was the most widely-planted red variety in California.
Sam Shaw famously shot the iconic image of Marilyn standing over a subway grate with her white skirt flying up on the set of The Seven Year Itch in 1954 and we changed the color of the dress to red to celebrate this wonderful red wine.
The white dress was recently offered at auction. Before the auction, it was estimated that the dress would sell for a price between $1 and 2 million, but it actually sold for more than $5.6 million ($4.6 million plus a $1 million commission).
